At Home Media: How to record great audio with an iPhone (1:44 min)

Adjust recording quality:

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Voice Memos
3. Go to Audio Quality
4. Select Lossless

Make an audio recording:

1. Open the Voice Memo app.
2. Have your script ready
3. Select the red circle button to begin recording.
4. hold phone 8-inches from your face.
5. When finished, select the red square button to stop recording.
6. To listen to the voice memo, touch the play button.

Exporting voice memos from your phone:

1. Tap the voice memo you would like to transfer.
2. Tap the ellipses (I.e., “...”) button.
3. Go to share.
4. Select the sharing method that works best for you.

Note: For longer recordings, it is more efficient to transfer voice memos to your computer using a USB cord.
