Production is the second phase in traditional filmmaking. This is the time when all the filming, recording, and gathering of source material happens. When the pre-production planning is completed thoroughly, the production phase is often straightforward and the easiest phase in filmmaking.

• Set up the scene (subject, props, lighting)
• Check equipment functions
• Operate the camera
• Operate the microphone
