How Do I Find SWOT Analyses?

Contains international company, country and industry SWOT analyses by Acquisdata Pty, Barnes Reports, Chart Maker, Economist Intelligence Unit, Fitch Solutions Group, GobalData, J.P. Morgan, Mergent, Oxford Economics, Plunkett Research and more.

1. At the Advanced Search screen, ensure All Business content is selected (left side).
   • type swot in the first text input box
   • if desired, add more keyword(s) in the subsequent text input boxes (e.g., cogeco; canada; telecommunications)  NOTE: If searching for a company, you can select Corporation-CORP from the adjacent drop-down menu for more precise results.
   • to find all the search words entered, select the Boolean operator AND from the drop-down menu between each search box
   • scroll down and select Reports from the Source type: menu
   • click the Search button
2. On the Results screen:
   • select the Full text-PDF link to view a report 
   • if there are too many results to scroll through, review the options in the pane (left side) and select relevant filters (e.g., Corporation, Subject, Publication date, etc.) 
3. Use the output options (i.e., download, print, email) to save the document.
4. With the report open, review the table of contents and/or search for the word SWOT or strengths or weaknesses, etc. (use Ctrl-F).
