    or
  • go to the MY TAGS section on the left and select the + sign to open the Create Tag window >in the New Tag box, enter a name for your tag and select a colour (7 choices) > click the Create Tag button

Once created, your tags will appear in the MY TAGS section. The number of references associated with each tag are noted and can be displayed.

To add a tag to a reference ...

  • select the reference(s) that you want to tag in the Reference List panel
    • to select several references, click on one reference and hold down the Ctrl key while selecting more references
    • to select all references on a screen, click on one reference and then press Ctrl+A to select all
  • right click on the selected reference(s) and pick Manage Tags from the pop-up window
  • in the Manage Tags window, create and/or select tags and click OK when done
  • the assigned tags should now be attached to the selected references

Tags attached to a reference will appear at the end of a title in the Title column of the Reference List panel (see image above, tags highlighted in yellow) and in the Summary screen for that reference.

The number of references associated with each tag are noted in the MY TAGS section and can be displayed.
