Library Services for Faculty

Your Working at Mac card is your library card. Present your card with the items you wish to check out at the Library Services Desk at any McMaster library, or at one of our self check-out machines. 

Loan periods for faculty are 3 months. You will receive an email notification for Holds, Recalls, Overdues, Fines, and Replacement billing. 

 

Reserves are items (books or other materials) that are set aside for courses by instructors. These items have short loan periods to allow many student to access them.

MacSphere is·McMaster University’s Institutional Repository (IR). The purpose of an IR is to bring together all of a University's research under one umbrella, with an aim to preserve and provide access to that research. Campus Classroom Technologies  (CCT), formerly CAVS, is responsible for the design, installation, and ongoing support audio-visual equipment in all Registrar-controlled classrooms.
