GIS Software in the Library
The public-use workstations in the University Library are equipped with GIS software programs, ArcGIS and QGIS.
These workstations can be accessed in-person during library hours.

Esri / ArcGIS Licenses
Through an Education Institution Agreement, the ArcGIS software is available to current students, staff, and faculty free of charge for education and research purposes.
To request a license or copy of the software, please complete the following form or contact libgis@mcmaster.ca.
