How do I Find Conference Proceedings?

This guide provides information about conference proceedings and help for finding the resources you need.

Library Catalogue

Conference proceedings that are published as a book series or in a journal may be found by searching the Library Catalogue.

  1. Search using keywords from the title of the proceedings: e.g. "proceedings of the Pipelines 2015 Conference"

  2. Search by the name of the conference or corporate body (sponsor): e.g. "Association for Iron & Steel Technology"

To find conference proceedings that McMaster Libraries carry on a specific subject:

  • Do an Advanced keyword search of your topic in the Library Catalogue

  • Select "Subject" from the drop-down menu and enter: "Congresses"

If McMaster Library does not own an item that interests you, you can request it through RACER, our interlibrary loan system.
