File Naming:
Consistent, descriptive file naming is important for personal organization, regardless of where you save/organize your files.
Start now with developing your system, and stick with it. This creates consistency and reduces the chance of those 'impossible to find again' documents.
A well-named file doesn't give you any information about its contents, other than what it is. For example, here is a well-named file:
2021-09-01_SW700_Assign03.txt
This tells you at a glance the date it was created, the class it was for, and which assignment it is. Following this naming structure allows you to easy search for, and find, your documents. Additionally, dating your files is also useful if you have multiple drafts of the same document.
