SVPRO's services are available to all members of the McMaster community, and include Inclusive and Trauma-Informed Response and Support, Prevention Education and Response Training, and Community Consultation and Referral.

SACHA is a fem­i­nist, non-prof­it, com­mu­ni­ty-based orga­ni­za­tion that pro­vides sup­ports to peo­ple who have expe­ri­enced sex­u­al­ized vio­lence at any point in their lives. SACHA works to end vio­lence and oppres­sion through edu­ca­tion, advo­ca­cy, out­reach, coali­tion build­ing, com­mu­ni­ty part­ner­ships, and activism.

The HHS Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence (SA/DV) Care Centre provides compassionate, confidential health care for children, adolescents, women, transgender persons, and men who have experienced sexual assault and/or domestic violence. SA/DV's mission is to ensure that care is provided with sensitivity and privacy for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Supports for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand, and Brant areas. Programs and services for people who are victims and survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. Supports may include emergency treatment, follow-up care, counselling, as well as referrals to additional services.

Victims of Crime and their families have access to a wide range of supports through Hamilton Police Victim Services Branch. The VSB is the only 24-hour on scene crisis intervention service for victims of crime and trauma in the City of Hamilton. The Unit responds to the immediate needs of people who have been victimized by crime and/or trauma, including sexual assaults. The Unit is staffed by civilian members and specially trained volunteers.

The Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres (OCRCC) is a network of sexual assault centres across Ontario. Membership includes sexual assault centres from across Ontario, offering counselling, information and support services to survivors of sexual violence, including childhood sexual abuse and incest.

The mandate of the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Treatment Centres is to address the health, psycho-social, and forensic needs of victims/survivors of sexual violence and/or domestic violence in a prompt, professional, and compassionate manner.

LGBT YouthLine is a *2SLGBTQ+ youth-led organization that affirms and supports the experiences of youth (29 and under) across Ontario. Youth Line offers confidential and non-judgemental peer support through our telephone, text and chat services. Get in touch with a peer support volunteer from Sunday to Friday, 4:00PM to 9:30 PM.

The Government of Ontario Support Services for Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse program provides help for male survivors of sexual abuse, both recent and historical. Approximately one in six men will experience sexual abuse in their lifetime. If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual abuse, you are not alone and there is help available.
