  • Music CDs, scores, books, and reference materials are located on the 4th floor of Mills Memorial Library
  • Music journals are kept on the 3rd floor of Mills

Start by searching the Library Catalogue using the Advanced Search.

Usually searching "Keyword" works best. For example:

  • pachelbel canon
  • frank sonata violin
  • beethoven symphony 5
  • beatles rubber soul
  • daphnis chloe
  • bach bwv 1052
  • wynton marsalis

Limit your results by Format

Limit options are on the left of the results in the Catalogue. For example:

  • Music Scores
  • Audio Cassette or Audio CDs
  • Vinyl LP

Find item(s) on the shelf

Listen or borrow

  • CDs may be played on computers in the library
  • LP vinyl records may be played on the turntable located in the Lyons New Media Centre, room L416; the room must be booked using the room booking form on the Lyons home page 
  • Music CDs and LP vinyl records can be checked out by all borrowers for 1 week, with 1 renewal

To request a book or score not located at Mac

  • use RACER to make an interlibrary loan request
