How Do I Access e-Resources Off-Campus?

Formerly Known as Kopernio, EndNote Click is a browser extension that securely connects you to our library's journal subscriptions with your MacID. It works on most major academic website to get you journal articles in PDF, whether you are on or off campus. 

Its major features include:

• Securely connect you to our library journal subscriptions;
• Harness both library subscriptions and open access articles;
• Deliver PDFs on article pages with one click;
• One-click access to PDFs from search engines such as Web of Science and PubMed. 

• Go to https://click.endnote.com and add the plugin to your browser. It works with major browsers such as Chrome, Fire Fox, Safari and Edge.

• Once the plugin is installed, create a free account and select McMaster University as your Institution.

• Your will be promted to log in with your MacID when you are in a journal site that the library has an subcription to. 

You can also configure EndNote Click to search major databases such as Web of Science and PubMed, and call up the sarch bar without leaving the website you are in. 

To do this, go to Settings-->More Settings-->Customize, and select Web of Science, PubMed or Google Scholar as your search engine. 

EndNote Click automatically builds up a search history of articles you access in your personal EndNote Locker, which allows you to:

• Store up to 100MB of PDFs in your personal locker;
• Download and share PDFs;
• Export articles to your preferred reference manager (EndNote--McMaster supported, Zotero or Mendeley).
