A Guide to Books

Many course reserves are now available electronically through Avenue to Learn. Navigate to your course, select Content, and find eReserves to find a listing of all electronic reserves. 

There are two ways to find physical Course Reserves, you can access the Course Reserves through the Advanced Search on the Library Home Page or you can search for your Course Reserves using the Library Catalogue.

To access Course Reserves from the Library Home Page Advanced Search follow the steps outlined below:

1. Select Advanced Search from the Library Home Page.
2. Select Course Reserves within Search Criteria.
3. Search for your course code or the title of the book.
4. The call number and current status of each item on reserve will be listed

To locate Course Reserves using the Library Catalogue follow the steps outlined below:

1. Entering the Course Code or Instructor's name or Title in the search box.
2. From the dropdown menu, select Course Reserves, and click Search.
3. Click the title to be taken to the item's Catalogue Record which shows item location and course reserve information.
